Stephanie Nielson, President of N.A.M.E. Attractions, and
a resident of Brigantine, New Jersey, has enjoyed a career
of more than 25 years in the entertainment industry. She was
recruited by Major Riddle to join his empire and become the
first female Entertainment Director in Las Vegas, and was soon
promoted to oversee Major Riddle’s properties as Corporate
Entertainment Director for Major Riddles Enterprises. Her career
with Major Riddle included many personal achievements such
as bringing to Las Vegas the international hit production of “Ipi
Thombi,” that won “Show of the Year, “ and
being the first buyer to headline Tina Turner in a main showroom
before she exploded on to the concert scene and became a superstar.
Stephanie also headlined many new recording artists making
their debut in Las Vegas, and during her more than 20 year
career in Las Vegas was responsible for bringing in more than
350 major concert artists including The Bee Gees, Stevie Wonder,
and the internationally acclaimed hit production “Oba
Oba” for its United States debut.
Her career later took her to Atlantic City where she worked
for Donald Trump for the next 9 years, as Vice President of
Entertainment for his Taj Mahal Hotel and Casino and Mar-a-Lago
property in Florida. At the Taj Mahal she continued to bring
in major attractions and was the first Entertainment Buyer
to headline Celine Dion, Placido Domingo, Enrique Iglesias,
and Marc Anthony in Atlantic City. She also contracted Bette
Midler, Rob Stewart, Phil Collins and Ringo Starr at Trump
Taj Mahal. In addition to concert artists she introduced the
famed Russian Stars Alla Pugacheva, Philip Kirkorov and also
booked the Moscow Circus and the Moscow on Ice at Trump Taj
Mahal Mark G. Ettes Arena.
In May of 2000, she opened her own company known as N.A.M.E
Attractions. She currently works as an Entertainment Producer,
contracting and presenting headline artists, National and International
Touring Attractions, production show, lounge attractions and
special events.
Since opening of her company, she has brought “Rock
to Opera” to the Taj Mahal, “V” The Ultimate
Variety Show, “Showgirls of Magic,” “Prodigy” and “Giddy
Up!” to the Tropicana Hotel and Casino, and “Cinemashow,” and
Richard Nader’s “Doo Wop Reunion” to Caesars.
She also Executive Produced “Reflections of Woodstock” for
Caesars in Atlantic City. In 2003, she produced Josh Groban
with Joshua Bell and Symphony Orchestra for the Grand Opening
of the new Borgata Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
In 2004, she brought Lee Ann Womack and Lorrie Morgan to the
Sands, Wayne Newton to Harrah’s and Brenda Lee to the
Hilton. In 2005, she has continued to bring productions to
Atlantic City, some of which include “The Elvis Story” and “Spirit
of the Dance” at Harrah’s, and more recently “Viva
Casino” and “The Spirit of Christmas” to
the Tropicana.
